The Woods Group was born in 1999 as Woods Applied Technologies (WAT) in response to one organization’s need for a website. After the first website, there was another, then another. As the number of organizations with TWG-designed sites grew, our model evolved as well: a partnership based on creating a web presence that represents each client’s unique character, created by those who know it best.

At TWG we believe that a design firm should give each client more than a list of “prefab” sites to choose from, without input into the design itself. We work step by step along with each organization, giving the client complete control and ownership of the process.

We don’t have rates. We only work for organizations that we can believe in and trust. That includes trusting that the organization will compensate us fairly on a schedule that works for them. In a world where the internet is essential to spreading the word about good work and important causes, we believe that a budget should not limit a good organization’s ability to have a great-looking, functional web presence. And we trust that by helping make the world a better place, our needs will be met.
